There will be no quota for 40th BCS: Chairman of the PSC.



Dhaka: After the cancellation of the quota system in the first and second-grade government jobs, the Chairman of the Public Service Commission (PSC) said. Mohammad Sadiq said that the government's latest decision on quota will be implemented. 40th BCS quota system will not be kept.

After the cancellation of the quota system in the cabinet, the Ministry of Public Administration issued a circular on Thursday (04 October).

PSC Chairman told banglanews, the government's latest decision on quota will be followed. There will be no quota system in the 40th BCS. But the 39th BCS quota system will be followed, he said.

On September 11, the PSC issued the 40th BCS circular for appointing first class cadre for 1,000 903 posts. According to the release issued in the quota reform movement, the quota has been made according to the government's final decision, according to Mohammad Sadiq.

But after quitting the quotas, there was confusion among the applicants about the matter.

Through the 40th BCS, 200 cadre of administration cadres, 72 police personnel, 465 general cadre and among other cadres, a total of 903 people will be appointed.

Beginning September 30, the applicants will be able to submit the application till 15pm on November 15.

On Thursday, the PSC introduced the helpline for technical support and counseling to meet the 40th BCS examination online application form.
